We have several options to make this a smooth process:INTUIT LINK: ***PREFFERRED*** is a secure website to easily & securely upload your tax documentation ***online questionnaire/tax organizer to make sure we have all the necessary information***Many took advantage of this tool last tax season and loved how easy and safe it was!!!DROP OFF/PICK-UP: At each location we will have a secure place for drop-off of your documents. And we offer Pick-up services also.MAIL US YOUR DOCUMENTS: Send Priority/Certified/get a receipt with trackingPlease DO NOT email your tax documents! This is not a safe way to send sensitive data, unless you can encrypt or password protect your documents. VIDEO-CHAT APPOINTMENTS AVAILABLE: would you rather see us when we talk about your tax return? NO PROBLEM…we can Zoom or Facetime or What’sapp to make sure you feel comfortable. GET REFUND QUICKER! Make sure all tax documents you receive have the correct spelling of your name, correct social security number, and correct address. IRS SCAMS: please be aware- IRS will NOT call you or email you and threaten you or demand money under any circumstances!!! IRS always sends letters to contact you. If you receive a phone call or email, such as this, please help by reporting this to the IRS scams alert. IRS LETTERS: If you receive a letter from the IRS, please send us a copy and we will help you to resolve the issue. We will now be charging to resolve those issues- starting at $35 per letter to the IRS. IDENTITY THEFT: If you have been a victim of IRS Id theft: the IRS will send you a new IP Pin each year in December, please provide that to us. If you are a victim of CC fraud or ID theft: 1) report to the police 2) contact CC company 3) Call credit reporting bureaus 4) Notify SSA office (if SS# used fraudulently) 800-269-0271 5) File a complaint with Fed Trade Commission 877-438-4338 6) Call ID Protection Specialized Unit IRS 808-908-4490 As a firm, we have a written security plan in place as required by the IRS, to help protect your secure data. |
